On November 2 TI-Spain has presented a set of forty Measures for preventing and combating political and institutional corruption in Spain, facing possible inclusion by Political parties in their programs for the next General Elections. These measures have been plurally prepared by a Commission created within TI-Spain and composed of thirty-four members from many different institutions involved in the fight against corruption and transparency: anti-corruption prosecutor, judges and magistrates, Court of Auditors, Anti-fraud agencies, Security forces, representative Public institutions and Local authorities, Universities and NGOs, among others (their members can be seen below. These measures, which have been sent to the twelve main political parties have been grouped in four areas: 1) Prevention of political and institutional corruption. 2) Prevention of corruption in public administration. 3) Punishment against corruption and repression. 4) Transparency and social control against corruption.
